Attorney Caldarone graduated from Pepperdine University (B.A. 1993 and M.A. 1999) in Malibu California and received his legal education at Northeastern University School of Law (J.D. 2002) in Boston, Massachusetts.
After graduating from law school, Mr. Caldarone was appointed as an Assistant State Attorney for the Miami-Dade County State Attorney's Office, the largest and busiest State Attorney's Office in the state of Florida, where he served the citizens of Miami-Dade County for three years. As a prosecutor, he successfully tried as lead counsel and handled hundreds of misdemeanor and felony cases. That intensive experience has prepared Mr. Caldarone to handle all criminal matters from complex federal cases to DUI and drug trafficking cases.
Seeking to expand the litigation skills and legal experience Mr. Caldarone acquired as an Assistant State Attorney, Mr. Caldarone accepted a Staff Counsel position at American International Group, one of the world's largest insurance companies, where he defended hundreds of policyholders involved in serious and complex personal injury cases. Through this experience, Mr. Caldarone learned how insurance defense attorneys, adjusters and insurance companies value and prepare cases for trial. Mr. Caldarone stands ready to put that knowledge to work for you to get you the best outcome for your civil matter.
Always looking for new challenges and seeking to improve as a litigator and trial lawyer, Mr. Caldarone accepted a position at a boutique complex commercial litigation firm where he represented a large state agency in an extremely complex civil action against several former owners of a large insurance company in South Florida who diverted and misappropriated tens of millions of dollars of premium, as well as litigating bankruptcy adversary matters, real estate matters, and partnership disputes in the state and federal courts of Florida. That experience handling complex business litigation matters has prepared Mr. Caldarone for any business dispute.
Attorney Caldarone is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in Florida, the Supreme Court of the United States and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
Attorney Caldarone is a member of the American Bar Association, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Collier County Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce.
In addition to fighting for his clients, Mr. Caldarone prides himself on his involvement in the community. Toward that end, he volunteers his time with the Teen Court of Collier County program and accepts pro bono cases with the Guardian ad Litem office in Collier County.
